Don't you just hate it when, having used your laptop happily for several hours, sitting on your bed, surrounded by books, researching names and symbolisms, suddenly, at the click of a button (because you're flicking to another window) there is a disheartening, sickening *popwhurr* - and then nothing.
Not even the little lights to tell you that the love of your life is plugged in.
And you leave it to cool down a bit, but it doesn't start. It doesn't anything.
So you leave it a bit more, and still, nope.
A bit more, a you try another option, and it's all very slow, and testing this and checking that, and it's all very slow...
Especially when you have spent the best part of the day researching, and have not backed that up to disc yet.
Oh but I will.
