Work.
Oh dear.
So I am finally working on a bid. Several really. I like writing bids. So this is good.
So there is another job going internally for six grand more that I could probably get if I went for it. But it would take me away from fundraising although maybe not comepletely.
And now there is the job I have an interview for, probably tomorrow afternoon, as a Fundraising Officer. Nasty commute though, and three grand more rather than six. Which is in zone 4. 90 minute commute.
But if I stay where I am, less money but having fun, I can up-sticks and move at the end of this year or beginning of the next.
If I take the the six grand rise I could end up here for another two years. After which my redundancy would pay for me to move. I can also apply for this as a 0.5 (half time) role, and see if they'll let me do that whilst my project still exists, which will also be three grand a year more. But going for it half time seriously compromises my chances.
If I take the Fundraising role I have a noticeable payrise and a noticeably nastier commute, and will probably get sick of it and want to move after the year, hopefully having saved the funds to do so.
What do you think?
