The NaNoWriMo wisdom is true for so much, for it is not only novels that get writen when there are deadlines. When one wants to leave a little early it is amazing how much can be done in ten minutes that has been allotted half an hour or more.
[IE Efficiency? Efficiency! Don't talk such nonsense! What you need is a suitably large iron boot in the rear to propell you into procrastination! And how can you ever expect to be lazy and relax and bydammit enjoy life if you only ever work efficiently! Work is the place where the "get in there get the job done and get out again" philosophy works. Only work mind! And maybe supermarkets.]
