I am going to go into work today. Oh yes. I have a meeting at half four, and I'm going to be there for that. At least for that.
I hate actually not being well. If pulling a sickie, fine, yeah, I'm doing it for whatever reason. When I'm actually not quite well, why am I doing it? Okay, so I couldn't move this morning, but so what? It's as though I expect to be able to do anything and everything unless I choose not to.
No pressure then.

I find contracting made me addopt a more pragmatic approach to sick days. If I am conscious - I go to work. Being paid by the hour tends to do that to you...
