Screwdrives on the way to work

I witnessed an assault today, on the tube. I took part in so much as I got screwdriver-whipped too, but only a little on my leg. The guy was okay. We gave statements. The *accused* was scary, irrational, lashing out, and it was a very bizzare experience. Mostly, it was bizzare because it completely didn't phase me. And th epolice-office who (eventually) took my statment complimented me on my recall abilities. Ra!

Felt strange thou. Police are not entirely compatible with my politics. The guy needs help, not locking away. It could have been so dangerous though. It so easily could have been so much worse.

And, worse of all, they fed me Nescafe coffee.

Bastards.

He does need help, but sadly we have to play within the system to a degree. Hopefully he'll get the help that he needs - if not, at least more people weren't hurt, and you gave a statement that probably prevented further harm coming to other people. You done good.
