A twinge. A twinge in my shoulder/neck. It doesn't feel like a twinge. It feels like A Lot Of Pain.

I have a rather lush bunch of lillies. They are huge and flashy (if you ignore the tesco carrier bag they are in).
I have taken enough codine for my teeth to be numb*. But hey, only a few hours to go. Half day today and working at home tomorrow to get this d@rn bid written.
* Which has not actually numbed the actual pain at all, but it has made me rather high. This is not so useful this morning. My priorities are rather fuzzy. I only have a few loose ends to tie up, and will be leaving about 1pm. Leaving for a world in which there are duvets and hot and cold compresses and maybe Buffy...
