The Minature Purple Elephant Rescue Foundation has hit hard times again. Our neighbours, the Retired Minion Monkey Trust, has some trouble with their fortified electric fence again. Several of the non-mutated monkies were injured in the escape attempt, but two of them (I expect they were from the third phase nuclear space defence programme again) got into our reception area. Sparky (our hand-reared pheonix-raven cross) is looking a little worse-for-wear - it was quite a shock for him. He shed some primary flight feathers. We are now looking for donations to replace the large desk in the main office with one that is fire and radiation proof.
Both monkies were safely returned.
No minature purple elephants were harmed.

Ah, sad news regarding the FMPF team. Michael Flatterly had to be shot following another attack on his keeper. He had sharpened the metal soles on his shoes again. The keeper was lucky to get away alive - he escaped with minor cuts and a few nasty burns.
The rest of the troop have been moved into solitary cages and no further admissions are being accepted (unless they arrive with all paperwork completed and stamped by an authorised robotier).

I'll ask [livejournal.com profile] cryx if she'd like to do a benefit. Our pair of flying tortoise-shell miniphants may make for a good show if we can agree upon a mixed show!

They are mostly rehabilitated, but are seperated so we can properly ascertain which are dangerous. We simply can't afford the insurance if we have them all together, although we are expecting the premium to go now.
If you'd like to come and visit 133t, you can. After the chaos has calmed down we expect all but one to make a full recover.
We don't really want to discuss 68 right now. Our lawyers have recommended silence.
Spliffly the Giant Tortoise is doing well though. She's ready any time you want to collect her.

Thank you, hugely appreciated! Unfortunately oue elephants don't come with the generous donations so often as the life companion trained monkeys.
We have some extra Gouda should you want it?

I've done it back!

I think someone with such questionable judgement should be watched.
Oh yes.
