Can open...

If you were in school right now, what would you be doing, or like to be doing?

I imagine being between 14 and 15, in the sixth form loos above the old library or out by the tennis courts smoking and chatting and skipping double science.

Wednesday afternoon, hmmm. Aged 17, sitting in the 6th form common room playing cards, drinking ovaltine and avoiding the voluntary PE session (better known as free periods for gym teachers).

Don't ask me why ovaltine, we had a thing for it.

But what I'm doing right now is kinda cool - I'm watching a westie and a black lab play-fight. I think the westie is winning. Now and then this office is fab.

If I could be I'd be watching puppies too...
and it's off to hell we go

15. French. Sat at the back of the class, not paying attention and gazing at the nape of the neck of the boy with the floppy blond hair, daydreaming.

[identity profile] kimkali.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I spent a great deal of mine time wishing french was practical too...

Work... /she looks ascance at the half written paper by her side...

Yes.

Work.

That thing, there.

I'd know it anywhere - I could even identify it in a line up.

I think...

erp?

*trawls back through to the dawn of time*

Wednesday afternoon. 15 and double matths I think. Or possibly PE and being punched by the rugby louts.

When I was 16 it got better as I was doing hockey with the girls. I was getting hit with sticks, but at least there were little skirts to look at :)

I liked hockey...
They stopped me playing though, despite it quite obviously being an accident...

Rugby LOUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rugger Buggers please!

[identity profile] ditzy-pole.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 02:51 pm (UTC)(link)
At that time? It usually involved me finding ways to skive off maths so I could spend time with the other girls smoking and playing pool... or sitting in the greasy spoon doing crossword puzzles.

Which school and when? I've got so many to choose from...

[identity profile] kimkali.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 03:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Absolutely any!
Anytime!

I just noted the weather and though - if I was in school, we'd probbaly have skipped and be chatting somewhere, for it is the first nice day...
and wondered what others would choose to do...

Wed

[identity profile] lexx-uk.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)

erm.... I am in school ;o) But in the teacher role rather than the pupil role.

Stepping back to how I'd have responded had I not been in a meeting at 1400 today.

Sixth year, on Wednesdays I went out with the outdoor studies class. Because I was a Mountain Leader and Kayak instructor I got co-opted to teach the OS class, so Wednesdays we buggered off to go hillwalking, or climbing or sailing or kayaking on the schools time.

Seemed like a good plan to me.
